8/26/17 - Karl E. Dehner was arrested on an outstanding warrant out of the Mount Vernon Municipal Court. Dehner was transported to the Knox County Jail without incident.
8/25/17 - At approximately 11:36 AM an officer was dispatched to a W. Vine St. address on a report of a theft. When the officer arrived on the scene he spoke with the complainant who stated her rings were missing from her residence. A written statement was completed and a report taken. There is nothing further to report at this time.
8/25/17 - At approximately 2:13 PM an officer was dispatched to an E. Sugar St. address on a report of a found needle. When the officer arrived on the scene, he spoke to the complainant who stated she was cleaning the house when she found the needle. The needle was secured in the sharps container in cruiser 5. A report was taken and there is nothing further to report at this time.
8/25/17 - At approximately 3:23 PM an officer was dispatched to an E. Lamartine St. address on a report of domestic violence between a female and her 13-year-old son. When the officer arrived, the complainant stated that her son pushed her to the ground and shoved her against a wall. A written statement was completed and a report taken. The juvenile was arrested and transported to the Muskingum County Detention Center where he was incarcerated. Charges of domestic violence are pending per the prosecutor's office.
8/25/17 - A complainant reported by phone that sometime between midnight and 6:00 AM someone entered his truck, which was parked on Maplewood Ave. and stole several tools. The complainant also stated that the truck was unlocked and no damage was done to it. The truck was described as a red 2005 Chevrolet Silverado and the tools taken included a Blue Parrot wireless headset, Bluetooth adapters for stereo, 2 iPhone chargers and adapters, an iPhone holder for vent, two screwdrivers and a hammer. The estimated value of the stolen items $500.
8/25/17 - An officer was dispatched to a Coshocton Ave. business on a report of shoplifting. The suspect was detained in the Loss Prevention Office after she was observed concealing items and passing the last point of sale without offering payment for the items. The suspect was issued a summons for theft.
6/26/17 - At approximately 6:42 PM an officer was in the area of 117 East High St. when he witnessed a male individual whose pants appeared to be down. The officer also witnessed the individual pull his pants uo and grab a can of beer from the ledge and start drinking it. The officer made contact with the individual and filed charges.
8/27/17 - At approximately 1:04 AM, two officers responded to an area of Coshocton Ave. on a report of a disturbance. A Knox County Sheriff's Deputy had been flagged down by an individual who stated an intoxicated male. later identified as Ryan P. Sheehan had driven his vehicle to the Duke and Duchess gas station. Sheehan was administered the Standardized Field Sobriety Test. He was placed under arrest for operating a vehicle while impaired, refusing a breath test and falsification. Sheehan was transported to the4 Knox County Jail and incarcerated.
8/27/17 - At approximately 4:46 AM, an officer was patrolling the area of Coshocton Ave. near Goodwill when he observed an individual trespassing on private property. The individual was charged with trespassing on private property.
8/27/17 - At approximately 2:21 PM an officer was dispatched to N. Mulberry St. on a report of suspicious persons on the front stoop, texting. When he arrived on the scene the officer advised the two males of the complaint and asked for identification. It was determined that one of the males had two outstanding arrest warrants. He was arrested and transported to the Knox County Jail without incident.
8/27/17 - An officer responded to a Coshocton Ave. business on a report of attempted theft. The officer found the suspect detained by the business' Loss Prevention employee. He stated that he saw the suspect remove items from their packages and conceal them in her purse., The suspect also tried to conceal packaged items and then exited the store without paying. She was stopped by the LP employee and escorted back into the store. The suspect was issued a summons for petty theft and released.
7/20/17 - Michael Snyder, 42, E. Chestnut St. was charged with drug abuse.
8/13/17 - Michael Miller, 34, homeless, was charged with criminal trespass and theft.
8/24/127 - Destiny Stone, 23, W. Sugar St. was arrested on a warrant for probation and charged with hypodermic possession.
8/25/17 - Clarence Ridenbaugh, 81, Harcourt Rd. was cited for driving onto a roadway and failing to yield.
8/25/17 - Jazzmika Lynch, 30, W. Chestnut St. was arrested on an outstanding warrant.
8/25/217 - Roger Legg, 30, Upper Gilchrist Rd. was arrested for drug abuse.
8/26/17 - Constance Pikaart, 32, Crestview Rd. was arrested on a warrant.
8/27/17 - Ryan Sheehan, 39, N. Mulberry St., was arrested for driving/physical control while under the influenced within 20 years of a prior offense and falsification.
8/27/17 - Danielle Reynolds - 28, Grandview Dr. was charged with criminal trespass.
8/27/17 - Margaret Fullmer, 84, Aurora, was cited for speed.
8/27/17 - Amy Blanton, 53, Cardington, was charged with theft.
8/27/17 - Jade Eberhardt, 26, S. Mackenzie St. was arrested on an outstanding warrant.
8/27/17 - Tameka Jackson, 43, Sandusky, was cited for failure to stop after a crash and failure to control/weaving.
8/25/17 - Tami L. Ruhl was traveling northbound on Vernon View Dr. Clarence G. Ridenbaugh attempted to cross Vernonview Dr. from a private drive. Ridenbaugh struck Ruhl. Ridenbaugh was cited for failure to yield when driving onto a roadway.
8/26/17 - Elizabeth L. Wood was parked northwest bound in the Walmart parking lot. Karen A. Smith was parked northeast bound in the parking lot. Both units began to back up at the same time Wood struck Smith in the left rear corner as Smith stopped in the travel lane. Video surveillance recorded the incident and a copy was placed into evidence. No charges were filed.
8/27/17 -Tameka S. Jackson was southbound on N. Main St. when he hit a vehicle parked on Public Square owned by Korinna N. Waddell. Jackson hit Waddell's vehicle four different times in the rear end.
